Product & Clinical Limitations
Information support, not diagnosis or a replacement for emergency services.
Effective date: 12 July 2026 | Version 2.0
1. Information support, not diagnosis
VitaPing supports access to approved emergency identity, contact and guidance information. It does not diagnose, prescribe, monitor vital signs, determine treatment or replace clinical judgement, trained responders or emergency services.
2. No guaranteed access or outcome
A product may be unavailable, damaged, not carried, not seen, not tapped or not compatible with the available device. Network, browser, handset, carrier, notification and third-party service failures may prevent or delay access. VitaPing cannot guarantee a response or outcome.
3. User-supplied information
Emergency information may be entered by the user, guardian or organisation and may become incomplete or outdated. It must be reviewed regularly. Unless a written programme states otherwise, VitaPing does not independently verify clinical accuracy.
4. Not the sole identifier
VitaPing should complement, not replace, recognised medical identification, medication lists, organisation procedures, emergency plans or other appropriate records.
5. Regulatory status
The regulatory position of a product or software feature depends on its intended purpose, functionality and deployment. VitaPing will publish approval, registration, certification or validation claims only where they are documented and apply to the exact product and use.
6. Emergency notice
For a live emergency, use the official emergency services: Ambulance 998, Police 999 or Civil Defence 997. The VitaPing website and contact form are not monitored as an emergency service.
